This year the event raised 4.3 million rubles, which will pay for individual and group therapy and specialized pre-school programmes for the children of CCP. Since its foundation in 1989, leading Moscow children's charity CCP has improved the lives of over 15,000 families with children with special needs.
290 guests gathered for the event on the 18th of November 2014 and were treated to an exhibition of photos of CCP by Oleg Singareev, live music by VIA Tatiana and a striking new film about CCP by Alexei Platonov. Entitled «Vera», the film tells the story of a girl with Down's syndrome, the challenges met by her and her parents and how CCP has worked with all three of them over the last 3 years. Vera's parents, Dasha and Andrei also joined for the event on behalf of all the families of CCP.
Auction lots included an all-expenses paid trip to the 2015 World Hockey Championships in Prague; a limited edition print from Dubossarsky and Vinogradov; dinner at home with the Chef de Cuisine from the Ritz-Carlton; and a Prada handbag donated by Natalia Vodianova. The live and silent auctions, lottery, CCP shop and ticket sales raised a phenomenal total 4.3 millon rubles. Organised by Action Group marketing agency and held in Design Zavod Flacon, the ball was hosted by Anton Komolov alongside auctioneers Tutta Larsen and Preslava Fentham-Fletcher.
The event was made possible thanks to generous sponsorship from Action Group, Svyaznoy, Unicredit Bank, Heineken, Original in Berlin and Flacon.
